4.21.2018:  Fire Causes Minor Damage to Office Building
 
At 5 PM on April 21st, the Beachwood Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire at 245 Atlantic City Boulevard. Upon arrival, it was found that the rear, exterior stairs to the building were on fire. An off duty Berkeley Twp. Police Officer contained the fire with an extigusher until the arrival of the fire department. The stair case and siding sustained damage and the fire appears to have started from smoking materials being improperly discarded into the leaf accumulation under the stairs. No one was injured in the incident.
